ABOUT

The Lab Factory Atl is a retail and manufacturing company founded by celebrity designer,

Timeekah Murphy, affectionately known as “Murph”, in Atlanta, GA in April of 2022. Murph is the

owner of the infamous brand “Alani Taylor”. As a designer, she sought out ways to end the

challenges associated with outsourcing a manufacturer which, subsequently, led to the birth of

“The Lab Factory Atl.”

The goal of The Lab is to serve as an affordable one stop shop for your retail and

manufacturing needs. Their vision is to create a sustainable space for visionaries to create,

maintain, and elevate brands. From the start of just an idea, to the production, their goal is

to walk hand in hand with emerging brands every step of the way, making the process seamless.

The Lab provides over 6,500 square feet of creative space for designers to not only bring their

ideas to life, but also afford them the opportunity to sell their products in a store front location as well.

The space houses a plethora of machinery including state of the art sewing, embroidery, and

DTG/DTF machines, which make production options limitless.

The Lab believes that the youth are the future. This idea has birthed the implementation of “The

Lab Academy.” The“Reap What You Sew" program offers excellent incentives and opportunities.

The program includes workshops to educate youth on sewing, financial literacy, and

entrepreneurship. Upon completion, youth will be knowledgeable on tailoring and all of the

tools that are essential for starting a business.

The Grand Opening Event will take place on April 1, 2023 from 11am to 7pm at 3039 Amwiler
