The showcase of her work, skills and talent on the ground breaking show “The Hype” (on HBO Max) is sure to garner viewers’ attention. Ten up-and-coming streetwear designers compete to prove they can walk the walk. Judges include Grammy®-nominated artist and designer Offset, Beth Gibbs of Bephies Beauty Supply, Emmy®-nominated stylist Marni Senofonte, and other celebrity guests.

Murphy hosted an industry mixer this past weekend Saturday, August 14th in Hollywood at the W Hotel curated by Kassha Brown of Brown Girl Ink Agency . The mixer was held on the roof top of the well known W hotel; it brought together the elements of fashion, music and art. Timeekah Murphy best known as “Murph”, went from army to designing, and is transforming the view of fashion through her eyes. The Brand Alani Taylor is a luxury streetwear brand with an unique iconic captivating style. The style is heavily influenced by the culture of gender fluidity and gender neutrality. The main focus of the brand is the integration of people. The most defining piece of the brand is Murph the designer herself. Her story is from war torn to adorn.

This designer is self taught with the challenge of enduring a brain injury but one of her greatest assets tenacity aligned with her character is her ability to learn, connect and evolve. Murph and the brand with the namesake of her daughter and legacy shows no signs of slowing down. Previous notable collaborations and recognition include Beyonce, Cardi B., Dababy, Tyler Jacob, Sheen Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling Out, Paper Magazine, Los Angeles Times, Vogue, Fashion Nova and Forbes.
